Can't deny I started the day on a damp mood because work is not exactly a fun thing everyday.
But it did became fun when it's break time.
I went for my break with Ruth and Ann and Ruth was talking about Eighteen Chef earlier on so we went there to realise there was a long queue and we had to wait for about 10-15min when our break is just 45min. However Ann have this friend that works part time there so she just kinda stormed into the shop and talked to him while me and Ruth continued to queue outside waiting for good news, yknow, like skipping the queue etc.
And when Ann came out, she told us that her friend would say that we made a reservation like way earlier so we can just go in without having to wait and her friend went to talk to the guy that took down our name. Meanwhile we were trying to keep a straight face and not grinning like some retarded shit.
So soon after, the guy that took down our names came over and he was like "are you his friend? He asked to give you guys a table." and we just couldn't stop ourselves from grinning LOL.
& we went into the shop #likeaboss.
Ordered our food and when we were eating, Ann was like "can I ask for free dessert" but she never did it of course because it would just be totally making use of her friend however when we finished our meal, her friend just randomly place a dessert on the table looking all cool and Ann was like, totally shocked.
Also during the dinner we got to know about something so everything was like 10x more funny because we kept teasing her and especially her shocked expression. xD
Took some selfies because it's Ann last day (for this year) and we probably won't have anymore chance to take photos.
We actually took our time eating the dessert even though we were going to be late (and we did ended up being late). & I kinda feel guilty eating it because what if her friend left that dessert for her only?
Brisk walked back to the shop and laughing all the way because I asked Ann to send me photos and she was trying to find my number while trying to get through the crowd.
Grew much closer to Ann and Ruth thanks to this laughter filled dinner.
Since it was around 8pm, the shop was super crowded and there were many calls for wrapping so I actually went forward to help since I usually run away because I'm scared of messing up but I'm proud to say I wrapped a total of 4 presents without messing up! Even though I was so nervous that Ann was like "Dear are you okay? You're like shaking."
Then while we were arranging the gift cards, Ann was like singing and when the lyrics came to "all I want for Christmas is you", I was reminded about what she told us and I just couldn't stop myself from laughing and Ann was like "What why you laughing?? ): I don't want him for Christmas! I want him for New Year ((;"
& throughout the remaining opening time of the shop, whatever she sang that was relevant, I just start grinning/laughing.
Around 9.40pm we closed the shop and this time round all of us stayed until Jia Ying finished counting the money unlike the usual where we just sweep the floor and leave since it was Ann's last day and we wanted to like take photos and stuff.
We wanted to take like a group photo and someone suggested just using the selfie stick we sell in the shop but Ann's phone was too big and she remembered I have a iPhone 6 so she was like "Eh got iPhone 6 just use that lah better. 😂"
Laughing so badly because the timer was set at 10 seconds and it was becoming too awkward while waiting.
Moved out of the cashier (because cctv I think) and we continued our group selfies.
We then left the shop together and every time we would walk like different directions when actually most of us are going to the interchange/circle line there so we decided that we should just walk together and it turns out that Jia Ying and Ann takes 133 so I took 133 as well and I'm really glad I did because after Ann got down at her stop, I had a small talk with Jia Ying and I kind of felt that I grew a little closer to her (even though the feeling may not be mutual) and she was like giving me support and all.

It's really weird that I only grew closer to Ann this day which is her last day and I'm very sure the shop will be duller without her laugher and her singing. I really hope I get to work with her again next year and we'll definitely miss her!
