Our school was the host school for the SG50 Entrepreneur Trail Launch event and since they were looking for students to take part in this entrepreneur trail project, I took the chance and joined! Mainly because it was something related to entrepreneur and partly also for my T3A HAHAHAHAHA please forgive me.
We had a briefing for the launch and we were told to wear the school blazer so I was super excited LOL. I mean, it's barely 2 months and I get to wear the school blazer already compared to secondary school which I took like 3 years + to wear one.
We were excused from lessons early to get to the NLB in our blazers and passerbys were totally looking at us.

Went to the 16th floor for the event using the private lift and we had a briefing by the organisers there. We were also assigned to an entrepreneur each and I managed to get Taka Jewellery so I was like damn happy please.

Before the other schools and guest start strolling in, we took the receptionist row and helped with registration.
Where did my eyes go?
And this was also when I found out that Taka Jewellery was sending representatives instead of the boss itself so I was actually disappointed because I really wanted to talk to an entrepreneur and learn from them!
As I was sitting at the guest and entrepreneur registration area, there was not much to do as most of them turn up late so we (me, Szemin & Augustine) started taking photos HAHAHA.
Got blazer must act abit.
Realised that there was a photo booth and the lady was like "go ahead it's sponsered anyway" so we started taking more photos and spamming them.
Finally the representatives and the big bosses turn up so we had to go to the entrepreneur we're in charge of and turns out Taka Jewellery sent two pretty ladies but there was nothing to talk about because well.. they were representatives. It's a pity that the entrepreneur couldn't come. ):
Stick around the two ladies for awhile until it was getting too awkward so I went back to the registration row to find Augustine to rant and then find Szemin's whose seat was taken by the two ladies.
The talk than started and it was like a introduction and a Q&A segment with the entrepreneurs which was pretty interesting and I guess what I really admire was their confidence?
After the talk was over and Szemin sent her entrepreneur off (mine disappeared I'm sorry), we walked around before fitting ourselves into the convo between the owner of Dian Xiao Er and one of the student host. The student host was asking like valid questions so it was quite a meaningful convo and I guess I learnt quite a few things from it, like why he decided to get into the F&B industry and why chinese cuisines especially.. until Bridget went to ask for discount HAHAHAHA but I'm not blaming her because all of us want too HAHAHAHA. But he told us if we could find his Facebook (it's under a different name) then he will give us the discount so we were like "eh if managed to find share info ok".

After that we just kinda lingered around and waited for the rest of the photos to be printed before heading back home!
It's free so yeah.. WHY NOT.
There's more to this SG50 Entrepreneur Trail so I do hope I get to learn more things from this event and also the chance to interview the entrepreneurs hehe.
