Release of O level Results

It's the release of GCE O level results today, and I did way better than what I expected!

Had lunch with Augustine at madjack and headed to Gift Greetings to collect my pay before going to school for the release of results.

The wait for results slip was crazy. First we had to wait for the speaker to finish the JAE registration speech which was important, and then the principal speech that made me even more nervous because apparently our batch had a higher average of 12 points as compared to 11.2 points the previous batch had, which was not a good thing because just in case you're not familiar with O levels, the lesser the point, the better it is.

All the while I was aiming for a raw point of 12 and knowing that was the average, my confidence went downhill.

And can I mention there were Kenneth and Cheryl who were so tensed that made me felt even more nervous.

Then they showed this table representing the percentage of pass and distinction for each subject and I didn't know how to read that table so maybe it was a good thing. Y'know, something like blissful ignorance because I have no idea how we fared for each subject.

Finally the teachers started to give out the results slip after the principal's speech and I'm just like praying so hard and suddenly Cheryl left for the front to collect her results and I was like:

"OMG WHY SO FAST I'm not ready for this!! D: 😩😩😩😩"

But soon enough my turn came and I walked calmly to the front, losing it immediately after I sat down wtf. Mrs Ngiam passed me my results slip saying congratulations but I didn't pay attention to that because I got so confused seeing all the grades and I was literally shouting "PLEASE AT LEAST LET ME BE ELIGIBLE FOR BUSINESS COURSE" while waiting for Mrs Ngiam to pass me Form A with my points and having people stare at me. Had her open my form instead because I was afraid I would tear it too violently wtf.

& I'm super pleased!! It's waaay pass my expectations (raw 12). I managed to get raw 9 and after bonus point, 5 which means I have a small chance for VJC hehe!

All the while I have been expecting myself to get a point that would get me to poly so I have been researching on poly and stuff but now I'm blessed with this result, I think I wanna think again carefully so I don't waste the opportunity!

Talked to 洪老师 and also Miss Zhong and Ms Rozi before heading to nex with Augustine for starbucks.

A photo to spice up this wordy post abit.

I was reading through my previous blog entries that were written when I was sitting for O levels and there was this entry where I said that I will score very badly for combined humanities because what came out for history seq was not what I studied and I was sooo afraid to face Miss Nisha. But looking at the grade I got for combined humanities I can't help but laugh at how scared I was.

It was a good decision to blog during O levels, because now I get to look back and see how I felt and laugh at it wtf.

((if you didn't meet your expectation, don't be too disappointed! there are people who wished they had your results and you will look back next time and think that this result didn't matter like how you thought about your psle results))

Cheers!
